THS Southern Production Kitchen Business Case

Blue Tier was engaged to undertake commercial negotiations for a potential new premise with the Hobart International Airport Limited (HIAPL) for the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) Southern Production Kitchen. Requirements included a commercial review and options analysis of the THS Southern Production Kitchen, as well as continue commercial negotiations with HIAPL.

The scope of works was comprised of two streams. First was a reengagement and continuation of the commercial negotiations with HIAPL, including understanding continuity of the existing lease, further developing the details of proposed new facility terms and conditions, and liaising with Crown Law in drafting suitable documentation for a heads of agreement.

The second was a commercial assessment of options, and other opportunities associated with relocating the existing facility, including commercial considerations, conducting a high-level summary cost benefit analysis and the preparation of a position paper incorporating options analysis for the Infrastructure Oversight Committee.

Blue Tier successfully delivered on all required outcomes, having undertaken respectful commercial negotiations, provided a commercial analysis and options paper and developed a position paper that was delivered to the Infrastructure Oversight Committee.
